The James Memorial Public Library will hold its annual book sale April 9-12, offering residents a great chance to purchase new and used books at a low price. The sale is sponsored by Friends of the Library.
Four STJ businesses named Best of Rural Missouri
Four St. James businesses were selected as Best of Rural Missouri 2025 out of 18 different categories by “Rural Missouri.” For the past 22 years, readers of the publication vote on the various categories in an online ballot.

Voters to decide ambulance tax on Tuesday
Voters will head to their polling precincts on Tuesday, April 8, to cast their vote on two local taxes and races, which are all unopposed.
Drama Department to hold spring musical
The St. James Tigers Drama Department will hold the spring musical “The Lightning Thief” next week, April 10-12. A cast of more than 50 made up of students from all three school buildings will be performing and the community is invited to enjoy the show.
